Ljubljana

Ljubljana is probably one of the smallest cities I've visited, yet also one of the prettiest. It's completely unassuming, yet offers up a wealth of beautiful buildings, delightful views and quiet, carless streets to explore. I was expecting an interesting city but got so much more: the architecture rivals many other capitals and the easy-going, friendly atmosphere made for a truly relaxing visit – a welcome contrast to some of the full-on cities.
