Sussex

Sussex is rarely dramatic, from a landscape point of view, but it does have its merits. The South Downs is certainly one of them, and there are some beautiful gardens too – and then there's the sea, of course.

It's refreshing in some ways in that, as a photographer, you have to work a little bit harder to get the unusual or more interesting shot: it's not served up in front of you as it's more likely to be in Wales or the Lake District.
