Wales

Wales offers some of the easiest access to great walking, and great landscape, in the whole of the UK. The south, especially around the Brecon Beacons, is perfect for relatively easy exploration, while the north, in particular the mountain ranges of Snowdonia, offers the greatest drama – and the greatest challenge, if you really want to take it on.

Add into the mix the glorious waterfalls, great beaches and lush green of the fields – a recompense for the abundant rainfall – and it's a photographer's paradise.
